What each style is for

A painted station scene with a plain green steam engine beside a modern train
An example of the painted look, made from an example photograph.

The vintage poster style suits a strong single subject: an engine head on, or a train crossing a viaduct. Ink and wash works on busy scenes such as sheds and yards, because it simplifies them. The oil-painting style flatters evening light and steam. Archival and collector grade keep your photograph as it is and tidy the tone, which suits a sharp shot you are already proud of.

Which photographs work best

A railway photograph open on a laptop beside a printed copy of the same picture
A clear, well-lit shot gives the restyle the most to work with.

One clear subject, good light and a file of at least 800 pixels on the short side. The AI redraws the picture, so it can change small details such as a number or a lining; check those against your original before you approve a preview. Preparing the photograph goes further.

From preview to the wall

A black framed railway photograph in a hallway
A framed print at A3 or A2 arrives ready to hang.

Nothing is printed until you choose a preview, a product and a size, and tick to approve the framing. The finished file has no watermark. It is made to order and delivered free in the UK, usually in 4 to 9 working days. Because it is made from your photograph it cannot be returned for a change of mind, but anything that arrives damaged is reprinted or refunded.
